This year, we are hosting a Halloween Spookfest Swim with Dia De Los Muertos on Sunday, November 1, at 8:30 AM.

The Club will provide coffee for the potluck. Please bring some Halloween or Day of the Dead goodies to share -- homemade if you are so inclined….or purchased.

“Decorate Your Swim Cap” for Halloween or Dia De Los Muertos. Make a swim cap of some sort and wear it. Be creative; this can either be a cap that can actually be worn for swimming or a cap that needs to stay dry.

Show up in a full costume...aquatic themes are suggested.

The event is free to attend.

When: Saturday, December 5, 2026. Entry at 4:00 PM. Dinner served at 6:00 PM. Come hang out, have a few drinks and watch the sunset from the rear deck of the Soledad Club. Click here to register.

Where: Soledad Club, 5050 Soledad Road, San Diego, CA 92109. Extension of Lamont Street just north of Beryl, opposite the entrance to Kate Sessions Park in North Pacific Beach. The Soledad Club has its own parking lot.

What: Brief program with a few awards, raffle prizes, and the camaraderie of your swim buddies and fellow mermaids.

Entertainment: Live entertainment by club favorite, Robin Henkel, from 4-6 (dancing encouraged).

Food: TBD.

Beverages: Wine and beer. The club will provide (pretty good) Costco wine, good beer and (tap with ice) water. Anyone who wants different wine or beer, or hard liquor (don't overdo that)…BYO. Bring your favorite bottle and share it with your swim buddies. We will have soft drinks with dinner.

Cost: $20 per person in advance by paying online or $25 cash at the door.
